While loudly playing through a soundcheck before their first gig, a clock fell off the wall. “We’d already built so much together as a musical unit, so adding Brendan just seemed natural,” Gaius said.Īfterward, the band formed without a name. On the same day, Gaius brought Brendan in the mix to jam together. Superstition got its start in 2019 when the band Canned Peaches, of which Jack, Riley and Gaius were a part, disbanded.
